We have some service information about schools, child minders etc stored in Capita at the moment and using it to populate our directories isn’t easy. Does anyone else have this set up? Capita doesn’t have an API for us to be able to integrate the info as we adopt Open Referral so seems to be a complicated one!

It’s a pity there are no responses from other Capita users. I can try to enquire via other channels. Is there a specific named Capita system that you’re referring to?
Now there’s government endorsement of Open Referral UK (I blogged about it), it should be easier to get suppliers to implement compliant APIs. If there’s a cost, that might reasonably be shared across all councils using the product, though I expect some suppliers to implement the standard just to get competitive advantage.
